Week 9 | Day 3 – A HOLY REMNANT – Romans 11:1-10

Romans 11:1–10 assures us that in spite of the individual rejection of Jesus by Israel, God hasn’t rejected His promise to them as a whole. Just as in the days of Elijah’s, God preserves a remnant chosen by grace that’s received by faith. Truth is, unbelief is a tragic, self-hardening path, but God’s redemptive plan still marches on—centered in Christ and offered by grace through faith, void of any and all human effort. Today, the Church gathered and scattered stand as a living witness to God’s grace, called to share and live it.

APPLICATION

1 - Trust God’s Covenant Faithfulness

When circumstances look bleak, remember: God keeps His promises—even when people falter. Anchor your hope in His character, not in human consistency.

2 - Refuse the Road of Unbelief

Unbelief dulls the heart and blinds the eyes. Feed your faith with Scripture, prayer, and obedience so your heart stays tender to God and the things of God.

3 - Rest in Grace—Not Performance

We are saved and sustained by grace, not by our résumé of morality and personal effort. Lay down your comparison and boasting—and lift up gratitude and worship.

4 - Remember the Remnant

God is always at work—often with a faithful few. Be faithful where you are, to whose you are knowing that your obedience to His Word and Spirit are essential to His kingdom coming and His will being done in and through your life.

5 - Be a Conduit—Not a Cul-de-sac

Grace received must become grace shared. Speak the Gospel, embody mercy, and point people to Jesus in how you live and in what you say—your talk walks only when your walk talks.

PRAYER

Lord, thank You for being a covenant-keeping God—faithful even when we are faithless. Guard my heart from unbelief, my hands from self-reliance, and my mind from pride. Teach me to rest in Your grace, to walk in simple obedience, and to bear witness to Jesus with humility and courage. Use me today to help someone else see and receive Your grace. Amen.
